Express Pastry Cream
Perfect for any dessert that uses pastry cream.
Or delicious eaten as vanilla pudding!
INGREDIENTS
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups Silk Vanilla or Very Vanilla
PREPARATION
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for 60 seconds to obtain a homogenous mixture. Pour the mixture into a saucepan. Over medium heat, stir gently and often until mixture thickens, about 10-12 minutes. If not serving immediately, cover mixture with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
Makes 3 1/2 - 4 cups pastry cream
